Microsoft Edge

Install the PanDev Metrics extension in Microsoft Edge so that time spent on whitelisted web tools shows up in your dashboards. Takes about 2 minutes.

Before you begin​

  • Microsoft Edge installed
  • A PanDev Metrics account
  • Your Server URL (Cloud: https://metrics-cloud.pandev.io, or on-prem URL)

Install​

  1. Open the listing: PanDev Metrics on Chrome Web Store
  2. If prompted, click Allow extensions from other stores
  3. Click Add to Chrome (Edge accepts Chrome Web Store extensions), then confirm with Add extension
  4. Click the puzzle icon and pin PanDev Metrics

Authenticate​

  1. Click the PanDev Metrics icon in the toolbar
  2. Enter Server URL, Login, Password (and Company Login for corporate SaaS)

Verify​

  • The extension icon shows a connected state
  • Visit a whitelisted domain for at least 30 seconds
  • In the PanDev Metrics UI: Settings → Browser Settings lists your machine with a recent event timestamp

Troubleshooting​

  • No data? Check that the visited domain is on your tenant whitelist and not on your personal blacklist.
  • Extension disabled? Open edge://extensions/ and re-enable PanDev Metrics.
  • Icon hidden? Use the puzzle icon → eye icon next to PanDev Metrics to show it.
